It uses high-strength concrete and the materials are engineered to withstand long-term pressure in this specific application. This pier is designed to be supported by friction with the soil and is a great application in areas where bedrock is shallow. Double-Pressed Pier

The double-pressed concrete pier system is a very affordable option. It uses the same high-strength concrete as the single-pressed pier, however, we press two piers side by side. This greatly increases the surface friction of the pier and provides greater support. This pier is great in areas where bedrock is extremely deep and hard to reach by other means. Steel-Pressed Pier

The steel-pressed pier is the more expensive piering system but offers advantages not found with a concrete pier. This pier finds little friction support and is designed to reach greater depths. It works great in areas where bedrock is within 20-30 feet and is the most stable of all repairs when bedrock is reached.
