Who this covers

This policy applies to www.foundation-doctor.com and to information you send The Foundation Doctor through this website or by phone. The Foundation Doctor is a locally owned foundation repair company based in Waco, Texas, serving Waco, Temple, Killeen, Bryan, College Station and the surrounding Central Texas communities.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a call back or an estimate, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the city or address of the property, and a description of what your house is doing. There is an optional checkbox to consent to text messages. If you call instead, we take the same details by phone.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our server keeps ordinary access logs: the IP address you connected from, your browser and device type, the pages you opened, and the time. These are used to keep the site running, diagnose faults, and defend against attacks.

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers or bank details on this website. There is no payment page, no card form, and no checkout anywhere on the site. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use it

We use what you send us to call you back, schedule an inspection, prepare a repair plan and written price, and communicate with you about the work you asked about. If you tick the texting box, we may also text you about your appointment. That is the complete list of purposes.

We do not sell your information to lead brokers, marketers, or anyone else. We do not trade or rent it. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who else handles it

Some information necessarily passes through the companies that run parts of this website and our communications. Each is used for the stated function only:

• Our web host — stores the website and its server logs.
• Our email provider — delivers the message from the form to our inbox.
• 123FormBuilder — provides the request forms on this site. Submissions travel over an encrypted connection to their servers and are delivered to us.
• Trustindex — displays our Google reviews on the reviews page and elsewhere. It loads review content and web fonts when those sections come into view.
• YouTube (Google) — hosts the explainer video embedded on our homepage. Loading a page containing that video contacts Google’s servers.

We do not give any of these companies permission to use your information for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own, and at the time of writing we do not run a website analytics package. Embedded third-party content — principally the YouTube video and the review widget — may set cookies or use similar storage in your browser when it loads, under Google’s and Trustindex’s own policies rather than ours. If you would prefer to avoid third-party embeds entirely, most browsers can block third-party cookies and scripts.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and estimate records as ordinary business records, because a foundation warranty is registered to a house and can be claimed years later, and the original job file is what supports it. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting. If you ask us to delete what you sent, we will, subject to any records we are genuinely required to keep for warranty or legal reasons — and we will tell you if that applies to you.

Your choices

• Get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. Email info@foundation-doctor.com or call (254) 863-8800. You do not have to give a reason.
• Stop texts. Reply STOP to any message, or tell us by phone or email.
• Stop calls and emails. Ask, and we stop. We would rather lose a lead than pester somebody.
• Texas residents. Texas law gives residents rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data held about them, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.

How we protect it

The whole site runs over HTTPS using current encryption, requests over plain HTTP are redirected to the secure address, and the site is protected by a firewall with malware scanning and kept updated. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly slipped in.
