We were in a situation that could have been exploited by someone without professional ethics, but that's not what happened. Last week we noticed a linear crack running through some tiles in our kitchen. The first thing that came to our mind was a foundation issue. I reached out to Ronnie, owner of The Foundation Doctor. He came by today and could have told us anything, given us an estimate for thousands of dollars for an unnecessary fix. Instead, he took measurements, looked at the foundation around the entire house and we talked problems and solutions. Our slab had shifted. But instead of telling us we were in trouble, Ronnie told us we had options that included watchful waiting. The slab wasn't in big trouble and we don't need a very costly fix right now. He ended up telling us the areas we need to watch in case the issues got worse and left us with a business card and an offer to help in the future if the slab was in real trouble. Things like this usually tick me off because I'm so jaded from interactions with unprofessional and unethical people that it's what I expect from everyone. When someone like Ronnie comes along, someone that does business like it was when I grew up, someone who you can trust to do the right thing, it messes with how I see people. If you've read this far I want to add this is an easy 5-Star rating. It's not based on work done, but rather someone whose words are honest, even if it doesn't mean new business for The Foundation Doctor.
I have a house with a pier and beam foundation. Ronnie was great to work with and was thorough in explaining the best option for my situation. Angela in the office was very nice and really quick to answer any questions I had. In addition to Ronnie and Angela, I am very impressed with their crew – Areilly (I hope I spelled his name correctly) is fantastic! The guys were on time, did everything they said they would, and the crew was not disruptive at all – they were as quiet as possible (I work from home and could even hold Teams meetings while they literally worked under my feet). To top it off, the crew were very respectful and tidy, and left a really clean job site, even mid-project. I've dealt with several construction crews with various projects over the years, and the Foundation Doctor – Waco crew is one of the best I've ever encountered – Really appreciate the all around great work!
Ronnie was great to work with in trying to get the foundation fixed on my mom's home in Belton, Tx. They were quick to determine just how bad the foundation was and talked with us about the options they offer. Ronnie was very informative in providing tips on additional work that might need to be reviewed in prior to the repair such as plumbing. We did have a plumbing inspection done and discovered that the main sewer line under the slab did need to also be replaced. Once we decided the foundation method to use the were very quick to get the job scheduled and completed very quickly. Would recommend this company to anyone needing help with their foundation.
I contracted The Foundation Doctor after having reached out to 4 different companies to level the foundation of my home. This company was recommended to me by a friend who said The Foundation Doctor went above and beyond. Not only was their estimate competitive, but the work was very professional and excellently executed. After the work was done, my home returned to its perfect place. I recommend The Foundation Doctor above and beyond. I would not only give them 5 stars, but 105 if I could.

I talked to many contractors first and Foundation Doctor is unique. Ronnie is very friendly and knowledgeable, with good insights. He has experience and discernment. I have met Ronnie on several projects so far but I have not had the opportunity to hire him yet. His honesty and punctuality really stand out in the world on contracting. I have been wanting to repay him for his free advice, but he won't charge me. So, I'm writing this review because it is all I can think to do to return the value he has provided me.
Professional and helpful. Ronnie educated me on the process and let me make the decision on what I wanted to do. Foundation Doctor was so easy to work with. They were great through the whole process from educating us on what they were doing to implementing and follow-up. GREAT people to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.
We have a 110 yr. old house with original hard wood floors. When I contacted the Foundation Doctor about our foundation issues & that I really didn't want to hurt the floors, they came up with a solution to repair our foundation issues. Ronnie helped us find a plumber also and just went above & beyond.
